The Aquarius new moon rises this Wednesday, January 29th, at 5:04 am Pacific. When the moon is in her void, it's a powerful time to check your spiritual compass and reassess and realign as needed. New moons offer energy that is ripe for internal software (or maybe even hardware!) updates, and, if all else fails, turning it off and turning it back on. It is in the quiet stillness of a new moon that we are most alive with our pure potential, equipped to set intentions, and prepare for new beginnings. This particular new moon is especially potent as it is also Lunar New Year and begins the year of the Wood Snake—a symbol of intuition, transformation, and creativity.

This Wednesday evening we will harness the optimistic and altruistic energies of Aquarius as we gather together for a new moon circle. I'll do a collective Tarot reading as well as read from one of my books, and lead the group in setting intentions for the moon cycle ahead. There will be time at the end for folks to share and a blessing to close the circle. All gender identities are welcome to attend and tickets are on a sliding scale basis—as little as $3—so that you can choose to contribute what your resources will allow.
